Best Framer templates for video editors

An editor's site has to play the work, then get an enquiry. A stills portfolio with a Vimeo link buried in the footer is not an editor's site.

What an editor's site actually needs

  1. Showreels that play on the page.
  2. Selected projects with role, length, client.
  3. A short list of what you actually take (colour, offline, commercials).
  4. An enquiry that names the job, not "hello."
  5. Restraint. Motion on the chrome fights the reel.

The picks on getsites

CUT: $49, featured portfolio. Good when the work should lead. getsites.co/templates/cut

Atrium: $69, featured portfolio. getsites.co/templates/atrium

Still: free if you only need a clean frame for embeds. getsites.co/templates/still

Collection

These are portfolio templates. They are not an editing-studio operations site. If you need a rate card and a crew list, write those pages in after remix.

How to go live

  1. Remix.
  2. Embed the current reel first. If that embed is ugly, fix the embed before you touch type.
  3. Add 6 to 12 projects, not 40.
  4. Point enquiry at your email.
  5. Publish.

If these are not the shape you want

These are not getsites templates. Two on the Framer Marketplace that handle video well:

  • Veditor: $59, and it embeds YouTube, Vimeo, or an uploaded file, so the reel source is flexible. Trade-off: editing stays inside Framer's visual editor, with no code access for deeper control.
  • Visual Frame: $39, a video-editor portfolio built to lead with reels. Trade-off: the listing does not spell out how video is embedded, so confirm the reel setup in the live preview before you buy.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Do I need to write code?

No.

Will Framer host the video files?

Host the reel on Vimeo or YouTube and embed it. Do not upload a 4K master into the page.
