Best Framer templates for photographers

A photography site has one job: get out of the way of the pictures. Galleries, big images, quiet type. If the template is louder than the work, it is the wrong template.

What a photographer's site actually needs

  1. Large images that are native fills, not cramped thumbnails.
  2. Galleries you can swap by double-clicking.
  3. A way to enquire for a booking, not a generic contact void.
  4. Separate work types if you shoot more than one thing (weddings vs editorial).
  5. Fast load. Heavy galleries kill phones.

The picks on getsites

These four are our own templates. Start with Still if you only need the site up. Move to Atrium or CUT when the work needs more room.

  • Atrium: portfolio, $69, featured.
  • CUT: portfolio, $49, featured.
  • BELLUCCI: personal, $49.
  • Still: portfolio, free.

How to go live

  1. Remix the template into Framer.
  2. Double-click every image fill and drop in your files.
  3. Rewrite the short bio. Do not write a manifesto.
  4. Point the enquiry at your email or booking tool.
  5. Connect domain and publish.

If these are not the shape you want

These are not our templates. They are on the Framer Marketplace, and each has a real trade-off.

  • Astrid: a free, minimal portfolio that puts images first, but it leans to one clean gallery style and is not built for splitting several shoot types.
  • Capture: a $69 photo and video portfolio, though the minimalist layout gives you less room to make the look your own.
  • Photographer: a free option by Real Mehedi that gets you online fast, but you trade granular control for the pre-set framework.

Cost

Free (Still) or $49 to $69 once, plus domain and Framer plan. See the getsites learn guides.
