Best Framer templates for estate agents

A buyer wants to see what is on the books and what it costs. A seller wants to know what the agent would price their house at. Most estate agent templates give neither: a search box over a stock photo.

This is a short round-up for a local sales and lettings agent that wants a Framer site.

What a estate agent site actually needs

  1. The price first. Price, beds, baths and floor area on every card.
  2. A way to narrow the list. By type and bedrooms, without a search form.
  3. A page per property. Photos, the details and how to arrange a viewing.
  4. A valuation form for sellers. That is where the instructions come from.

Our pick: Freehold

Freehold is the getsites template built for local estate agents. Every home on the wall shows its price, beds, baths and floor area, and a tap on a type or a bed count narrows the wall in place. Properties, areas and journal posts each have their own CMS page, and sellers get a valuation form with the agent's numbers beside it. Pages for lettings, sell, areas, about and contact are included.

  • For: local estate agents, sales and lettings agencies, agents who want buyers to filter, not search
  • Price: Free
  • Licence: unlimited sites, client work included
  • How you get it: a remix link straight from the Framer Marketplace, no checkout

How to go live from Freehold

  1. Open the template on the Framer Marketplace and click Remix. The project copies into your free Framer account.
  2. Replace the sample properties with your current listings as CMS items.
  3. Write your own areas pages.
  4. Point the valuation form at your inbox.
  5. Replace the demo photos with your own.
  6. Connect your domain in Site Settings, Domains, and publish.

If Freehold is not the shape you want

If you build homes rather than sell them, see Site Book (free) and Kinross ($49) in Framer templates for property developers.

Cost of a live Framer site

The template is free. A domain is about $10 a year. A Framer site plan, which includes hosting, is only needed to connect your domain and remove the Framer badge. Detail in how much a Framer website costs.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Is Freehold really free?

Yes. Freehold is free to remix from the Framer Marketplace, and the licence covers unlimited published sites, client work included.

Does it connect to a property portal feed?

No. Properties are CMS items you add or edit in Framer. It does not pull listings from a portal.

Can buyers filter the listings?

Yes. A tap on a property type or a bedroom count narrows the wall of homes in place.

Do I need a paid Framer plan?

Only to connect your own domain and remove the Framer badge. Editing and publishing on a free Framer link work on the free plan.
